Isami began as our family's vision, and with Burnaby's embrace, it has become so much more.
What started as a small, family-run kitchen quickly became a place where neighbors, friends, and generations of families gathered to share meals and memories. With each passing year, we've grown alongside the city, humbled by the support and love that have transformed our family's vision into a lasting part of Burnaby's story.
In Japan, stories about a mysterious river creature that lives both on land and in water have been told. This legendary animal is known as Kappa, the "river monster".
